Thank you

Today's blog may be the last that I shall post before returning home.  The next few days until Tuesday are to be travelling days and it will be difficult to update the blog in transit.  It has been a privilege to tour with the boys and with the team of managing adults, Yin-Chu and Eliane in particular.  We have had fun, made new friends and had the most amazing experiences both off the stage and on.  Thank you to all whom we have met on our journey - those who hosted us and those who volunteered their services to make the World Choir Games such a success.  Also, thank you to those Kearsney families who travelled with us - it was always wonderful to see a familiar face and to have support and help.
Thank you too for all the comments we have received on the blog, email and Facebook - it has been a real motivator!
Best regards
Bernard, Warren, Bonita and Tracey

  1. We were privileged enough to witness the choir perform in NYC & DC. The enormity of the venues whether it was pre-arranged or impromptu blew us away!

Our sincere thank you goes to Yin-Chu, Eliane & all at FAF who worked tirelessly to put this tour together.

Congratulations on acheiving 2 golds & becoming world champions in Folklore. A big thank you to Bernard for leading the boys to victory, we are so proud!

Also a huge thank you to Tracey for being a mother, nurse, photographer, maid etc, we really appreciated you being there for the choir.

Much love from Rob and Karen Easton-Berry

  2. This has been such a amazing adventure. Thank you for giving our sons the priviledge to represent their school (and country) and thank you for keeping us updated with all the news and photo's. Although we have missed our boys, we have really felt part of it all with the daily updates! Congratulations on your magnificent achievements - there are no words to explain how proud we are of you all. We now wish you safe travels home and look forward to see you on Tuesday evening in Durban.

Please pass on the following message for tomorrow (16th July)
Happy 14th Birthday Kyle - what a way to celebrate your birthday! I am sure this is one you will never forget. We looking forward to celebrating together with you when you get home.

All our love from Mark and Yvonne Howard.
